What Is Your Return/Exchange Policy?
Non-returnable Items
All made-to-order, original art, art prints, collage portraits, custom window treatments, custom-made fabrics, and custom-made furniture are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

Art
Original artworks are expertly packaged and shipped from Walnut, California. It takes 2-3 days to prepare the shipment. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive tracking information. All packages are insured.
All prints are made by my fine art printer in Fullerton, California. Production time takes 1-3 business days. My printer sends the prints to me. I will then hand-sign and number each one to ensure authenticity and exclusivity. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Do You Ship Worldwide?
Yes, we do!
Please note that shipping and import fees may occur depending on your country. All items are declared at their purchase price, and we will not falsify documents.
Can I Change Something in My Order?
We are unable to exchange the artwork or your delivery address after checkout. Please be sure to choose your perfect piece and double-check your address.
Will Artworks Be Hand-Signed?
All original artworks are hand-signed by Sara Palacios (artist) on the front or back of each painting.
All limited-edition prints are also hand-signed and numbered by Sara Palacios (artist) on the front of each artwork. Prints are signed and numbered on the bottom of the white border.
Will I Get a Certificate of Authenticity?
Yes. You will receive a Certificate of Authenticity when you purchase an original artwork or a limited-edition print.
Can I Commission a Custom Piece?
Yes. I accept custom orders for collage portraits, custom fabrics, and furniture.

Decorative Pillows
We accept returns and exchanges on items that are in stock. All items must be in new condition. We offer a full refund, minus $50 for shipping charges, for items returned within 30 days of receipt. Once the return is received in the same condition, we will issue a credit to your original payment method for the full purchase amount. We will not accept returns without an RA# or after 30 days. We encourage you to inspect your items upon receipt.
- Items must be unused and unwashed.
- Items must be free of stains, makeup, food, or wear.
- We do not cover the cost of returned items.
- We are not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in transit. Please keep your proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back your returns.
- Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after your item(s) are delivered to us. You will be notified via email once your return has been processed.
What If My Product Arrives Damaged?
Sara Palacios Designs stands 100% behind our products. Each piece is carefully finished and packed to ensure safe transport. We encourage you to inspect your items on receipt of your purchase. If damage occurs in transit or you discover any manufacturing defects, contact us immediately. A photo of the damaged goods should be sent to sara@sarapalaciosdesigns.com. In the body of the email, please include your order number, a picture of the damage, and a short description of the issue.
The digital images we display are as accurate as possible in terms of color. However, due to variations in computer monitors, we cannot guarantee color accuracy between the actual product and your screen. Therefore, we always recommend requesting a swatch.

A minimum of 4 yds is required for all hand-painted fabrics.
Ordering Information
Please specify the end use of the painted fabric. Minimum 4 yds.
- Due to the hand-painted and stenciled process, designs are sold only in full-yard increments.
- Please submit a cutting of your current sample showing all colors. We will match the color as closely as possible.
Custom Orders
Hand-painted, stencil, and patchwork designs can be modified in terms of color palette, ground cloth, and configuration. Custom orders require an approved strike-off prior to producing a yardage order.
Strike-offs
- Delivery: 2-3 weeks.
- Please include a working sample showing custom colors and their proper placement with your strike-off order.
- Written approval is required to proceed with the production of the yardage order.
- A strike-off must be purchased if the designer chooses to make significant color and/or placement changes in the original strike-off.
A backing is not included. It is recommended that silk fabrics be backed if used for upholstery. The cotton knit backing can be provided for an additional fee. There is a 10-yard minimum for this service, and it requires an additional two weeks per order.
Disclaimers
- Characteristic irregularities within the ground fabrics add individuality to each yard of fabric; variations in the pattern designs are characteristic of the hand-painting process. These variations are in no way considered to be defects.
- Fabrics are not guaranteed against fading, wear, or crocking. All fabric should be lined or backed.

Custom Window Treatments
Since 2008, we have been passionate about designing and manufacturing custom curtains and Roman Shades for our customers. All our orders are made in our Los Angeles studio. Our distinctive services include professional measuring and experienced installation for the Los Angeles area. We ship to the continental USA. Installation service only for Southern California.
For a curtain quote. Email the following information:
- Window area width x length
- Where will the curtain open? Center Right Side Left Side

INSTALLATION GUIDE:
As a general rule, for proper fullness, panels should measure 2-3 times the width of your window/opening. Please email your window/door dimensions so I can provide an estimate.
Standard measurement for installing your curtains: add 4-8” to each side of the window frame and 4-8” above it. Panels should at least make contact with the flour. This will give the illusion of a higher ceiling.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS
ALL GOODS ARE CUSTOM-MADE TO ORDER SPECIFICATIONS. ORDERS ARE NOT CANCELABLE AFTER THREE (3) WORKING DAYS OR RETURNABLE. CHANGES IN ORDERS, RETURNS, OR CANCELLATIONS REQUIRE PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM THE MANUFACTURER. SUCH ORDERS WILL BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE, CANCELLATION, OR STOCKING FEES UP TO 50% OF THE NET SELLING PRICE.
METHOD OF SHIPMENT
The buyer is responsible for the shipping arrangements. Any shipments returned to the Manufacturer as a result of Buyer's unexcused delay or failure to accept delivery will require Buyer to pay all additional costs incurred by Manufacturer, INCLUDING STORAGE FEES.

Products Care
TEXTILES
Care for textiles by vacuuming or lightly brushing. Maintain textiles by keeping them away from direct sunlight. Rotate and flip cushions when vacuuming for even wear.
The nap of high-pile textiles such as mohair and velvet may become crushed or lose its original pile height. We recommend light steaming to lift the pile to its original height. The textile should also be brushed with a de-linting brush to maintain its pile.
Water-based or solvent cleaners may cause discoloration or staining.
We recommend that stained or soiled textiles be professionally cleaned.
LEATHERS
Leather is a soft, porous material that is sometimes uncoated and can easily absorb liquids and oily substances. Avoid saturating the leather with lotion or water for an extended period.
Care for leather by dusting and lightly vacuuming.
Maintain leather by keeping it away from direct sunlight and heating vents. Leathers are natural, "living" material that breathe and move as they wear.
We recommend that stained or soiled leathers be professionally cleaned.
