Collection: Villa Il Salviatino - Textile Art

In the summer of 1976, my husband attended Stanford University's Florence campus at Villa Il Salviatino. That magical summer, we wandered through Florence. We visited museums, churches, gardens, and small cafés, absorbing a city where beauty seemed woven into everyday life. Nearly fifty years later, those memories return through cloth, lace, paper, and thread. These works are not portraits of the villa, but of the feeling it left within me.
