Collection: I Never Promised... - Textile Art

I Never Promised is a meditation on impermanence—on the quiet tension between what we hold and what inevitably slips away.

Each piece is constructed from fragments: salvaged textiles, hand-stitched forms, and layered surfaces that carry the memory of touch, time, and erosion. Flowers emerge, but they are not fixed. They bend, dissolve, and reassemble—like moments we try to preserve but cannot.

There is no promise here of permanence, only presence.

The work invites us to sit with that truth:
that beauty exists not in what lasts, but in what is felt, briefly and fully.

These are not objects of decoration.
They are objects of witnessing.
