    This handmade book is about my childhood in Cuba.  I was born in  Elia, in the province of Camaguey.  I lived in that town until the age of 5 when my father bought a farm in the town of Ceiba Mocha, in the province of Matanzas. Clara was our babysitter when we lived in Elia.  I always think of her, even though her image I cannot remember but her spirit is alive in my memories. The photographs are from 1957.      ...
