The image is printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Rodrigo Palacios was born a Wednesday the 5th of May, 1943, in Cali, Colombia. He received his doctorate in literature from Stanford University in 1976 and was a professor of Spanish at the Los Angeles Community Colleges from where he retired in 2005. Rodrigo has written many short stories, all published in Spanish literary magazines. In 2005 he wrote his masterful anti-novel Women Crossing the Seine. Rodrigo is also an accomplished plastic art artist. All the different mediums that he uses to create a piece of art bit it a novel, short story, painting are always tied to a philosophical question about the relationship between art and the individual. This blog is a collection of conversations that he is having about art and the role that art plays in our existence.
